Fireball Run Transcontinental Rally

“The Race to Recover America’s Missing Children”

After 9 days and featuring the hospitality of 7 great cities, the very first Insurance Office of America Fireball Run Transcontinental Road Rally is now in the history books. 65 teams from all over the U.S. participated in the event, which sent us all traveling from Orlando to Baton Rouge, then to Beaumont, TX; Oklahoma City; Albuquerque;
Henderson, NV; and finally ending up in Beverly Hills,
CA. A special thanks to the Chambers of Commerce
and the Convention and Visitor’s Bureaus in each of
the cities for their incredible support!

Staging to Leave Baton Rouge

Each team of the Fireball Run adopted a different missing child and part of their mission as they played this amazing game was to distribute posters of their missing child.Thanks to RISO for donating the printing of the 50,000 posters that are now posted over the 3500 miles from coast to coast.The people involved in this event are truly heroes! They truly took their mission to heart and the awareness raised because of their efforts was nothing short of phenomenal. Thanks to all of the sponsors who made it all possible, including Insurance Office of America, FedEx,
and Clear Channel Outdoor (who donated $350,000 in billboards to support the event and feature our
missing kids)

 Staging to Leave Albuquerque

While the event was intended to be an awareness raising campaign for CRN, it also helped to raise much needed funding to help us to continue providing all of our programs and services free of charge. J Sanchez and Martin Blake of the Fireball Run donated a 2008 Saturn Sky Turbo to CRN which will be auctioned off on Gathergate.com in the near future! The winner of the event, Artie Malesci, who drove the Dodge Viper, was given his trophy and as an added bonus the Fireball Run folks gave him the keys to the “Official Pace Car” of the event which is also a 2008 Saturn Sky Turbo.In an act of incredible generosity, Artie then turned to CRN President, Jeff Griesemer, and said, “You know I don’t really need another car and so I am donating this vehicle to Child Rescue Network”. Thank you Artie, Rich,
and actor Jeffrey Donovan for your wonderful gesture which
truly embodied the whole attitude of everyone who participated
in the Fireball Run, that of giving back to help others.

Overall it was an amazing event where people came together to have fun and support CRN’s mission of protecting children. Thank you to everyone involved!
