One of the missions of Child Rescue Network is to assist families who are going through the nightmarish ordeal of having a missing child.  CRN has professional, licensed investigators who volunteer their time and talents to assist our efforts to reunite missing children with their searching families.  These Volunteer Investigators work closely with law enforcement agencies around the world to follow up on leads that come into CRN through our toll-free hotline and via our web site.  Poster

CRN distributes posters of missing children through our network of volunteers, poster partners, and through special events like the Fireball Run Transcontinental Rally - "The Race to Recover Amercia's Missing Children".

CRN gets involved in missing children cases when we are notified by a parents or law enforcement.  We also frequently participate in Amber Alerts by passing along the information to our database of volunteers, advocates, and parents.

IF YOUR CHILD IS MISSING...  or you believe your child is missing take action immediately.  If you’re at home, do a quick search of the house and yard. Check closets, laundry piles, under beds… anywhere a child could be hidden. If you cannot find your child and have not yet notified the police then do so. There is no waiting period for police involvement when a child is missing!  If you are in a mall, store, or other venue and your child disappears, contact a store employee, manager, or security personnel immediately. Many locations have an action plan that can be implemented when a child is missing. Hopefully you have also taught your child the Child Rescue Network rule that when they are lost in this type of situation that they should stay put and not go anywhere with anyone!  Predators use this type of opportunity to prey on children at a vulnerable time.

When you notify law enforcement you should have vital information regarding your child close at hand. Child Rescue Network recommends an ID card that parents carry always. The card should include a current head and shoulders photograph of your child and have your child’s age, height, weight, eye and hair color listed. If you know what your child was wearing when they disappeared this will also be helpful information for the police.  At this point you should call Child Rescue Network at 877.209.KIDS (5437) ext. 82, and we will also be able to assist in the search for your child.  If you have any questions or would like to discuss your situation, don't hesitate to contact CRN Investigations:
